Our Corporate Statement

To be the premium facilitator of US – Nigeria business relationships. Providing the most reliable business networking platform between Nigeria and the Americas

From the President

Fellow current and aspiring members, since the American-Nigerian International Chamber of Commerce (ANICC) was founded in 1999 we have been striving to create an institutionalized framework for potential investors interested in doing business in Nigeria which should help avoid unpleasant pitfalls as well as assist in promoting cooperation between businesses in the United States and Nigeria along clear parameters, in line with best global practice; thus, eliminating poor investment decisions occasioned by poor sources of information, and wrong partnerships.

In this quest, we have seen the need to guide business chain relationships so that proper legal and regulatory due diligence is effectively carried out. Our efforts are specifically directed at Nigerian communities in Diaspora and potential direct investors in the US seeking to do business with potential Nigerian partners.

In doing this, the chamber has been seeking anchor organizations in Nigeria who have proven pedigree in industry and commerce. These anchor organizations are pivotal to the projected goals and aspirations of the re-positioned ANICC because they have a full grasp of data for those willing to do business in Nigeria. This has been a missing element in our set goals.

Thankfully, we are proud to say that we have found the right home-based partners – Banwo & Ighodalo, Nextzon and Desarrollar – who will act as our functional partners creating the right links, making your dollar and naira count. They will help you ensure judicious utilization of your resources in order to maximize profit in Africa’s largest but often challenging economy as well as help you avoid all possible landmines with a predetermined endgame in sight, devoid of unnecessary and uninformed pitfalls. We are inviting all Nigerians in Diaspora and other willing partners to explore the depth and possibilities of navigating successfully Africa’s largest economy. I look forward to seeing you at one of our functions soon.
Ms. Emelia Orubele
President, American Nigerian International Chamber of Commerce.
